Silicone and TPE are widely
utilized in medical or rehabilitation products. Silicone's biocompatibility,
being non-toxic and non-irritating to human tissues and skin, makes it less
likely to trigger allergic reactions. Its elasticity and durability allow it to
withstand a certain degree of deformation without fracturing or deteriorating,
making it suitable for various medical products requiring flexibility and
durability. Silicone also exhibits excellent resistance to high and low
temperatures, maintaining stable performance even under extreme conditions.
TPE is a thermoplastic elastomer with properties of both elasticity and plasticity. TPE has a softer texture and better elasticity, allowing for adjustment of its hardness and elasticity according to needs. It is commonly used in producing products that require softness and comfortable touch. Therefore, these two materials are widely employed in the application of rehabilitation and training products.
